I think that the Grassroots Project was fun and educational and I think that other schools should try it! --- M. F.
I liked the Grassroots Project because we got to do lots of fun things and learned alot about all different kinds of birds, mostly bluebirds and wrens, which we built nest boxes for. Also we got to meet Myrna Pearman, who told us lots about bluebirds and house wrens. And we got to draw pictures and type out information on the website. We also got to learn a bit about websites and things. We also got to look at the different kinds of bird cavities and nest boxes and all the slides of birds that Myrna brought. I also liked looking at and learning about the different kinds of bird eggs. And I especially liked seeing the inside a bird's cavity in a tree stump. If someone asked me if I would do it again I would say best, because it is a good learning experience and it is lots of fun! --- BJB
